Delta has had a strong relationship with MLS for quite some time. But they wanted to expand into more under represented sports and athletes. It’s that desire that led us to the NWSL and 10 Years And Climbing.
Specifically created to showcase some of the best, and most interesting players, cities and fans, Delta wanted to show their commitment to supporting and elevating women’s sports.
In this first year we focused on three cities: New York, Raleigh and Seattle. Hosted by Olympic and World Cup winner Carly Lloyd - as well as bringing in heavy hitting The Athletic journalist Meg LInehan, we told the story of the people, places and things that make the NWSL great. And in the process helped the NWSL to keep climbing.
